Job Summary:

 

Develops and maintains wholesale mortgage loan production through inside Company advertising, leads and telemarketing throughout various states. Acts as liaison between wholesale broker and loan operations to facilitate loan closings.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Receives telephone calls from potential or existing wholesale loan brokers as assigned to develop new business or retain existing business.

  • Maintains ongoing relationship with new broker contacts to generate ongoing loan submissions.

  • Advises brokers of Company programs, pricing and submission polices and procedures.

  • Advises brokers of any changes to Company’s policies or procedures

  • Assists brokers in loan submission process.

  • Trains brokers on use of available online systems for loan submissions, automated underwriting, rate sheets and loan lock procedures.

  • Acts as liaison with broker, and internal broker coordinator, processing, underwriting, and closing to ensure timely loan closings.

  • Manages loan pipeline to achieve departmental goals and objectives.

  • Ensures compliance deadlines are met with regards to pre-disclosures, approval letters and denial notices.

Essential Job Functions:

 

  • Confidentiality: Maintains highly confidential information concerning loan applicants.

  • Organization:  Requires high level of organizational skills and ability to work on several files simultaneously.

  • Communications:  Constant contact with brokers and internal office staff.

  • Coordination:  Significant coordination of various duties required.

  • Equipment:  Office machines such as computer, copiers, fax machines

  • Physical:  Sitting for extended time periods.  Hearing and vision within normal range.

Experience:

 

Two years of experience as a wholesale account executive with multiples brokers, investors and loan products.  Must demonstrate thorough knowledge of all aspects of wholesale loan production.

 

Education:

 

High school diploma or equivalent.

 

Skills Required:

 

  • Excellent computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

  • Calyx Point, Loan Score, DataTrac experience preferred.

  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

  • Strong customer service skills.

  • Ability to handle detailed assignments.

Ability to organize and prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
